About the Role
n
You'll play an important role in the manufacture, assembly and refurbishment of conveyor and industrial products that support customers across the mining and materials handling sectors.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Fabrication, assembly and refurbishment of conveyor-related products
n
Reading and interpreting engineering and fabrication drawings
n




Operating workshop equipment, hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
n
Conducting fit-up, assembly and mechanical installation activities
n
Maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship
n
Identifying and resolving fabrication and assembly issuesSupporting continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop
n
Contributing to a secure, organised and productive work environment
n
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
n
n
Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting, Boilermaking, Fabrication or a related trade
n
Experience working within a manufacturing, fabrication or industrial workshop environment
n
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
n
Robust mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
n
High attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
n
Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
n
Positive attitude and ability to work effectively within a team
n
Current Driver's Licence
n
n
The following will be highly regarded:
n
n
Experience with conveyor systems or materials handling equipment
n
Welding and fabrication experience
n
n
