Job Description
PERSOL is partnering with an innovative and growing technology business operating across the Life Sciences and Advanced Battery Technologies sectors to appoint a Finance & Administration Assistant to join their team in Eight Mile Plains.
n
This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys combining accounts, administration and front-of-house responsibilities and wants to become an integral part of a growing organisation.
n
As the first point of contact for the business, you'll play an key role in creating a professional and welcoming experience for clients, visitors and stakeholders, while also providing hands-on support across finance and general administration.
n
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity commencing immediately.
n
About the Role
n
n
Reporting into the broader management team, your responsibilities will include:
n
Managing day-to-day bookkeeping activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable and reconciliations
n
Processing credit card transactions and employee expense claims
n
Assisting with general finance administration, with MYOB experience highly regarded
n
Answering incoming calls and welcoming visitors and contractors
n
Managing visitor sign-in processes and providing qualified front-of-house support
n
Ordering office and kitchen supplies and maintaining general office requirements
n
Providing administrative support to management and the wider team
n
Assisting with building, facilities and maintenance requirements
n
Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the office
n

About You
n
We're looking for someone who is organised, approachable and detail-focused, with the ability to confidently manage a varied workload.
n
To be successful, you will ideally have:
n
n
Previous experience in a finance, accounts or administration support role
n
Practical
bookkeeping/accounts
experience, including exposure to A/R, A/P and reconciliations
n
Experience using MYOB or a similar accounting system
n
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
n
The ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team
n
A proactive approach and willingness to learn
n
A positive and qualified attitude, with confidence acting as the first point of contact for the business
n
n
