n Applicants must be available to work a flexible roster and be available 24/7
n including public holidays to meet the business' needs. This is a full-time
n position, offering approximately 38 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Preparation and production of quality bakery products as per Bakers Delight standards.
n
Ensure bread quality and range is up to standard and delivered in a timely manner to meet customer demands.
n
Maintain an effective relationship with all team members of the Bakery.
n
Weighing flour and other ingredients to prepare dough.
n
Operating machines and tools to prepare bakery products.
n
Decorating cakes with glazes, icings, butter-cream and edible toppings.
n
Preparing pastry fillings.




n
Coordinating the forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning and cooling of batches of bread, rolls and pastry products.
n
Glazing buns and pastries
n
Maintaining a cleanliness of machines, tools and premises
n
Monitoring oven temperatures and product appearances to determine baking times.
n
n
Previous Bakers Delight or similar bakery experience would be an advantage.
n
Applicants with Minimum of 3 years' experience or Certificate III in Baking, as a Baker will have priority for this role.

Flexible availability to work across the 7 days of the week, which may include evening work and some public holidays (starting times can be as early as 2am)
n
Work in a fast-paced team environment and communicate with customers and staff
n

Complete duties as directed by your manager/supervisor
n
Abide by company policies and procedures at all times
n
Train, develop and supervise apprentices and staff in the Bakery Department
n
Maintain an effective relationship with all team members of the Bakery
n
Have an eye for detail
n
Have valuable numeracy and literacy skills
n
Have a sound knowledge of food handling and food safety
n
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
n
