The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Australian payroll professional who enjoys working in a high-volume environment, solving complex payroll matters and providing trusted support to employees and leaders.

n

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will play a key role in delivering accurate, compliant and efficient payroll operations across the organisation.

What You'll Do

n

n
Process end-to-end weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls accurately and on time.
n
Interpret and apply Enterprise Agreements, Awards and Australian payroll legislation to complex employee entitlements.
n
Manage payroll tax, workers compensation, superannuation, reconciliations and reporting.
n
Resolve complex payroll queries and build strong relationships with employees, leaders, HR and Finance.
n
Drive payroll process improvements and maintain accurate employee data across payroll/ERP systems, with SAP highly desirable.

About You

n

We're looking for an experienced payroll qualified who can confidently step into a senior role and take ownership of complex payroll activities.

n

You'll Ideally Have

n

n




5+ years' senior payroll experience in a large, high-volume Australian payroll environment.
n
Robust knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, compliance, Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
n
Proven experience with end-to-end payroll processing, including payroll tax, workers compensation and superannuation.
n
Strong attention to detail, reconciliation, problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.
n
SAP experience highly desirable and Certificate III/IV in Financial Services advantageous.
