Fourth Chapter is a well established cafe in Prahran that has been serving the community for over a decade. An opportunity has now risen that we are now looking for the right person to join the Front of House team as a Barista. The position in open to full-time, part-time and casual candidates so feel free to apply at any level.

The role
n
You'll be working as part of a team, serving and producing for a high volume of customers from morning through to afternoon. The role requires an experienced individual work efficiently within a team without compromising coffee quality, presentation or hospitality.

Key responsibilities

Preparing consistently high-quality coffee throughout busy services
n
Communicating clearly and working closely with the wider front-of-house team
n
Solid and consistent latte art skills
n
Working quickly and efficiently during high-volume periods
n




Maintaining hygien levels and keep a well-stocked coffee station
n
Providing warm and genuine hospitality to our customers
n
Supporting opening, closing and daily coffee station procedures
n

About you
n
n
Solid specialty coffee knowledge and technical skills
n
Solid experience working in a busy, high-volume coffee venues
n
Have a strong passion for all things coffee and consistently produce strong latte art
n
Fast, organised and calm under pressure
n
Take pride in quality, cleanliness and attention to detail
n
Are reliable and work well as part of a team
n
Have solid weekend availability
n
