Experienced Civil Excavator & Dozer Operators – (Gympie Region)

Roberts Bros Pty Ltd is a locally owned and operated family business with more than 40 years' experience delivering civil construction projects throughout the Gympie region.

Specialising in rural residential subdivisions, we are seeking experienced excavator and dozer operators to join our established team for ongoing, long-term work.
n
About the Role
n
We are looking for skilled operators with proven civil construction and GPS experience operating one or more of the following:
n
n
Excavators
n
Dozers
n
n
The position offers a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with applicable overtime rates paid.
n
A four-month probationary period applies to all new employees.
n
Essential Requirements
n
Applicants must have:
n
n
A minimum of four years' machinery operating experience in civil construction
n
Experience using Topcon GPS or similar for fine detail work
n
A valid White Card or recognised Blue Card
n
Current RII plant and machinery competencies, or equivalent qualifications
n
Reliable transport
n
A strong work ethic and dependable attendance
n
The ability to follow instructions and work safely as part of a team
n
A willingness to assist with general labouring duties when required
n
Pride in producing accurate, high-quality work
n
n
Highly Regarded Skills and Attributes
n
The following will be viewed favourably:
n
n
Experience operating loaders, dump trucks, posi-tracks, rollers or other civil construction plant
n
A current MR or HR truck licence
n
The ability to read and interpret civil construction plans
n
Residence within the Gympie region or surrounding area
n
n
All Roberts Bros worksites are smoke-free, and employees must comply with our workplace smoking requirements.

Our Equipment Fleet

Our fleet includes:

Excavators: Volvo and Komatsu, ranging from 1.7 to 36 tonnes
n
Dozers: Komatsu D51, D65 and D155
