ABOUT US

With a team of around 25 teachers strong, Music World is looking for a passionate and cutting-edge Piano & Theory teacher to join our diverse team. You must be comfortable with students ranging from young children to adults. Our team looks not only to inspire their students, but also provide appropriate challenges and goals to help them excel.
n
The position is for our Point Cook campus. However, the successful applicant can also teach at our Malvern East campus should the opportunity arise.
n
Current teaching day:
n
Saturdays from 10:30am - 3:30pm, but not limited.
n
Commencement:
n
Immediately - VIC School Term ******
n
Role Description:
n
n
Effectively communicate with students, parents, and staff
n
Teaching at our private music studios and/or at affiliated schools
n
Ensemble/bandmanagement
may be required from time to time
n




Preparing students for concerts throughout the year
n
Preparing students for music examinations (AMEB etc.)
n
Preparing students for competitions
n
n
Requirements:
n
n
Committed to music education in the long term
n
Completed or completing a Bachelor or Graduate degree in Music
n
Ideally have at least 4 years teaching experience
n
Having your own form of transport is ideal. If you do not have a car, you must be prepared to use public transport
n
Candidates must have/apply for a valid Working with Children Check and ABN number.
