Our offshore team is an important part of Raft and works closely with our Sydney based team to support the delivery and progression of restructuring and insolvency engagements.

THE ROLE – ANALYST / ACCOUNTANT
n
As part of Raft's offshore team,



you'll work closely with our Sydney-based team to assist with the day-to-day progression of restructuring and insolvency engagements.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Extracting, reviewing and analysing financial information
n
Conducting investigations and transaction analysis
n
Preparing working papers and supporting investigation work
n
Assisting with statutory reporting and reports to creditors and stakeholders
n
Maintaining insolvency software, file records and statutory checklists
n
Preparing reconciliations and other financial information
n
Assisting with the progression of recurring and statutory tasks
n
Working collaboratively with the Sydney team to progress matters efficiently and accurately
n
Ensuring work is completed in accordance with relevant processes, statutory requirements and professional standards
n
n
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
n
n
2-3+ years' experience in accounting, insolvency or a related professional services role
n
Strong accounting and financial analysis skills
n
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
n
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
n
A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of assigned work
n
The ability to manage priorities and work effectively within deadlines
n
Strong communication skills and confidence asking questions or seeking clarification when required
n
A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or a related discipline
n
Experience in Australian insolvency or restructuring will be highly regarded
