An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Test Manager to join a major NSW Government Microsoft Dynamics 365 and cloud transformation program.
n
This is a senior, hands-on role responsible for establishing and governing the end-to-end testing approach across a complex, vendor-led transformation involving Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Dataverse, Azure, SQL, system integrations, data migration and business process change.
n
The Role
n
Working closely with delivery vendors, business SMEs, architects, technical teams and program leadership, you will lead test strategy, planning, execution oversight, defect governance, quality reporting and release-readiness assurance.
n
You will maintain clear client-side accountability for test assurance, business acceptance and release readiness across all testing phases.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead and govern end-to-end testing activities across the transformation program
n
Develop and maintain test strategies, plans, schedules, quality gates and completion reports
n
Oversee SIT, UAT, regression, integration, end-to-end, performance and production verification testing
n
Lead testing across Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Dataverse, integrations and data migration
n
Manage test execution, defects, risks, dependencies and quality reporting
n
Coordinate UAT workshops, business participation, acceptance and formal sign-off
n
Monitor vendor testing performance and maintain clear accountability between client and vendor teams
n
Provide evidence-based release-readiness and go/non-go recommendations
n
Ensure compliance with governance, security, audit and quality standards
n
Drive test automation, continuous improvement and effective use of Azure DevOps
n
Lead and coordinate testers, business SMEs and onshore, offshore and vendor resources
n

About You
n
n
At least 10 years' experience across software testing, quality assurance and test management
n
Senior accountability for test strategy, governance, delivery outcomes and release readiness
n
Demonstrated hands-on experience leading testing for Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations
n
Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Dataverse, Power Platform, Power Apps and Power Automate
n
Experience testing workflows, business rules, security roles, role-based access, forms, views, reports and configuration
n
Experience leading testing within large, complex transformation or legacy-system replacement programs
n




Strong experience across SIT, UAT, regression, integration, data migration, performance and end-to-end testing
n
Experience testing APIs, middleware, integrations, data flows and legacy interfaces
n
Strong SQL skills for test-data preparation, validation, reconciliation and troubleshooting
n
Experience using Azure DevOps Test Plans or an equivalent test-management platform
n
Strong knowledge of defect governance, quality gates, test evidence and release-readiness reporting
n
Demonstrated experience managing vendor-led delivery and cross-functional testing teams
n
Excellent stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, communication and escalation skills
