This is an opportunity to bring your senior leadership skills and take ownership of a state's transport operations, with influence across commercial outcomes and a direct line into executive decision making.

Key Responsibilities

Lead transport operations across the state
n
Manage carrier, supplier and third party logistics relationships
n
Oversee commercial performance including revenue, cost and margin outcomes
n
Build and grow customer relationships and identify new business opportunities within the existing network
n
Lead, coach and develop supervisors and frontline teams
n
Ensure compliance with relevant transport, safety and regulatory requirements
n
Contribute to planning and forecasting for the state's operations
n

About You
n

Demonstrated experience leading transport operations at a state or multi site level
n
Background in fast-moving consumer goods, retail distribution or high-volume, short
n
cycle environments
n
Strong understanding of transport compliance and safety legislation
n
Proven experience managing budgets and commercial outcomes
n
Confident negotiator with strong relationship and communication skills
n
Comfortable leading through change, with a consultative leadership style
n
