Program Manager - Technology Transformation

Sydney | Hybrid | 6M Contract + extension | Up to $1,200/day including super

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to join a large-scale technology transformation program within a leading financial services environment.
n
This is a newly created position within a growing technology portfolio, with the successful candidate taking ownership of a key technical stream and working alongside an established Program Manager to drive delivery across a complex program of work.
n
About the role
n
The role will focus on improving technology service management, data quality and asset governance across a critical technology workplace.
n
Key areas of focus include:
n
n
Leading a CMDB data uplift to improve the accuracy, quality and governance of technology assets
n
Driving service mapping across critical applications, services and infrastructure
n
Improving visibility of technology dependencies and relationships between configuration items
n
Establishing clear single sources of truth for asset and demand management
n
Managing complex delivery schedules, budgets, risks, issues and dependencies
n
Working closely with architects, developers, BAs, data teams and technology stakeholders
n
Managing external vendors and delivery partners
n
Providing clear reporting and governance to senior stakeholders
n
Driving delivery across agile teams while operating within a structured program governance environment
n

About you
n




We're looking for a hands-on Program Manager who can operate comfortably at both a strategic and delivery level.
n
You'll ideally bring:
n
n
Robust Program Manager experience within technology environments
n
Experience delivering complex technology transformation programs
n
Exposure to CMDB, ServiceNow, service mapping, ITSM or configuration management
n
A good understanding of application, infrastructure and service dependencies
n
Strong schedule, budget, risk and dependency management experience
n
Proven senior stakeholder and vendor management capability
n
The ability to translate technical information into clear business outcomes
n
Experience working with matrixed teams and technical delivery functions
n
A hands-on approach and willingness to get into the detail when required
n
Banking or Financial Services experience highly desirable
n
Payments experience advantageous but not essential
n
n
You don't need to be ServiceNow specialist. We're looking for someone who understands the technology environment, can work effectively with technical teams and has the delivery capability to keep a complex program moving.

Monday and Thursday are mandatory office days, with the third day flexible
