About the role
n
Full time temporary employment for 6 months project based in Merriwa NSW. You will be collecting and transporting multiple waste streams including general waste, cardboard, plastics, and recyclables, operating and maintaining modern, well-equipped vehicles, and working safely on active commercial sites alongside heavy vehicles and machinery.

Key responsibilities
n
Collecting and transporting multiple waste streams including general waste, cardboard, plastics, and recyclables
n
Operating and maintaining modern, well-equipped vehicles
n
Completing daily pre-start checks, safety documentation, and required paperwork
n




Working safely on active commercial sites alongside heavy vehicles and machinery
n
Ensuring compliance with Workplace Health & Safety requirements and National Heavy Vehicle Regulations
n
Maintaining a professional appearance and a clean, organized work workplace
n
About you
n
Strong knowledge of transport safety and compliance
n
Understanding of Chain of Responsibility and Fatigue Management
n
Experience driving Hook Lift and Truck & Trailer combinations is preferred
n
Waste management experience is advantageous but not essential
