Job Description
An experienced MR driver all-rounder capable of both servicing clients and working on the weighbridge dock during quieter periods. The Truck Driver position is responsible for the collection of hazardous material containers from client premises and the safe loading, transport and unloading of hazardous Material Containers.

Key responsibilities
n
Collection of hazardous material containers from client premises
n
Safe loading, transport and unloading of hazardous Material Containers
n
Using PPE as prescribed
n
Adherence to Ace Waste Policies and Procedures
n
Protected Operation of Ace Waste vehicles, in accordance to state law
n
Loading and unloading vehicles as required
n
Perform waste processing tasks
n
Ensuring that appropriate 'Dangerous Goods' measures are adhered to,



including ensuring placards are affixed to the vehicle when, and as required by statutory regulations
n
Vehicle basic inspection & maintenance, including completion of pre-start checks, refuelling, checking oil & coolant levels, tyre wear, and weekly clean of vehicle
n
Ensuring vehicle is locked when unattended
n
About you
n
Current MR (Medium Rigid) Drivers Licence, or higher (HR, HC or MC)
n
Current DG (Dangerous Good) License is an advantage
n
Use of vehicle rear lift (tailgate)
n
Physically fit (Capable of moving and lifting waste containers up to 40kg gross)
