Job Description
A house-hold brand in Australian Retail is looking to add an experienced Infrastructure Manager to their team. This enterprise organization has been going through successful growth and this is a newly created position within the company.

A combination of people management & technical leadership, the Infrastructure Manager will lead of team of 16 people, driving strategy, modernization & operations specifically in the traditional IT infrastructure stack. The IT Infrastructure environment comprises of over 3,000 servers across numerous sites including 3 DCs.

What you will be doing:

Provide technical and strategic direction for Infrastructure Services
n
Take ownership of planning, designing & implementing Infrastructure, back up & recovery technologies
n
Perform workload management, project planning, forecasting and resource allocation
n




Align technical activities with organizational strategic objectives
n
Define and enhance business processes
n
Develop robust processes for ongoing optimization of Infrastructure
n
Manage a team of technical engineers to ensure operational and strategic needs are met
n
Manage and maintain Infrastructure budgets
n
n
What you will need to succeed:
n
n
5+ years experience in Infrastructure Management
n
10+ years experience in Infrastructure Engineering
n
Previous ownership of department budgets and forecasting
n
Proficiency with virtualization - VMware, Hyper-V, SANs
n
Robust experience / knowledge of Storage, Backup & Recovery technologies
n
Experience managing DC technologies
n
