Job Description
We're partnering with a well-established organisation undertaking an exciting data and analytics transformation and are seeking an experienced Analytics Engineer to join the team on an initial 3-month contract.

This role will play a key part in delivering a backlog of high-priority reporting and analytics initiatives, helping to build scalable data models and empower the business with meaningful insights.

What You'll Be Doing
n

Design and develop dimensional data models using best-practice methodologies
n
Create and maintain semantic models within Power BI
n
Build intuitive dashboards and reports that drive business decision-making
n
Work across the Microsoft Fabric platform to deliver modern analytics solutions
n
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into reporting outcomes
n
Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance across reporting assets
n




Support the ongoing uplift of the organisation's analytics capability
n

About You
n
You'll be a hands-on Analytics Engineer or Senior BI Developer who enjoys working closely with stakeholders and turning business requirements into impactful reporting solutions.

Key Skills & Experience
n
n
Robust experience with dimensional modelling (Kimball / Star Schema)
n
Advanced Power BIdevelopment skills, including DAX and semantic modelling
n
Practical experience with Microsoft Fabric
n
Strong SQL skills
n
Experience managing and delivering reporting backlogs
n
Ability to engage with stakeholders and translate business needs into technical solutions
n
Strong communication and documentation skills
n
Experience working within Agile delivery environments
n

Experience with Azure Data Services

Data engineering exposure across modern cloud platforms
n
Understanding of data governance and self-service analytics principles
