BOOKKEEPER / INTERNAL ACCOUNTANT FOR A COMMERCIAL EGG FARM IN WERRIBEE

Reporting to the managing director and the GM, this is an chance for a talented individual to be responsible for all of the internal Accounting & Bookkeeping functions and Administration as part of a small agile team. You will be able to confidently lead discussions with Management and provide guidance and foresight as well as undertake the day-to-day requirements of the Accounting/Bookkeeping role.

Key responsibilities
Manage all internal Accounting & Bookkeeping functions
Handle Accounts Receivable/Payable
Prepare monthly and annual financial accounts including budgets and forecasts
Manage BAS and Statutory reporting
Undertake reconciliations
Lead discussions with Management and provide guidance and foresight

About you
Minimum 5 years proven experience as an Internal Accountant/Bookkeeper




Robust knowledge of double entry accounting and reconciliations
Experience with XERO
Excellent communication and verbal skills
Capable of interacting effectively with people at all levels of an organisation
Detail-oriented to ensure no mistakes in critical documents
Australian Permanent Resident
