Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Full-Time Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a long term basis .
Applicants must have previous experience working as a Pharmacy Technician in a pharmacy or previous hands-on compounding experience within a pharmacy environment.
Experience in an Australian compounding pharmacy is highly desirable, however additional training in our compounding processes and procedures will be provided to the successful applicant.
Please note: This position is specifically for an experienced PharmacyTechnician/CompoundingTechnician.
It is not a pharmacist position and is not suitable for applicants whose experience is solely as an overseas-qualified pharmacist without pharmacy technician or pharmacy compounding experience.
Compounding Technician

About the Role
The role involves the preparation of compounded pharmaceutical products and may include:
Preparing and filling capsules and syringes
Milling and preparing creams and ointments
Weighing and mixing raw materials and ingredients
Preparing pharmaceutical formulations and batches
Following compounding procedures, formulas and quality-control processes
Maintaining accurate documentation and records
The position also includes laboratory and stockroom responsibilities such as:
Inventory and stock control
Safety Data Sheet (SDS) management
Quality-control procedures and documentation
Restocking raw materials and laboratory supplies
Waste management
Washing laboratory glassware and equipment
Cleaning equipment and workstations
Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic laboratory environment
Other duties as directed by the Laboratory Supervisor
We are looking for someone who is reliable, organised, detail-oriented and comfortable working in a busy laboratory environment.
Accuracy and the ability to consistently follow procedures are essential.

Monday to Friday
9:00 am – 5:00 pm
