RFTN & Mechanical Air Pty Limited is a growing HVAC company based in Padstow, Sydney, with a team of 20 people across our Service & Maintenance and Installation divisions.
n
Our Service & Maintenance team looks after a diverse range of commercial clients, includingRSL clubs, pubs, commercial properties and large-scale student accommodation. We're a busy, hands-on business and we're looking for an experiencedSenior HVAC Technicianto join our Service & Maintenance team.
n
This is a role for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work and is confident dealing directly with clients while working through complex service and maintenance issues.
n
You'll be working closely with our Service Manager and Service Coordinator, with the support of the wider team behind you.
n
The Role
n
As a Senior Service & Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for attending a range of commercial sites across Sydney to carry outplanned maintenance, breakdowns, fault finding, repairs and general HVAC service work.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Attending commercial sites to diagnose and rectify HVAC faults
n
Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance
n
Fault finding across a range of commercial air conditioning and mechanical services equipment
n
Servicing and repairing split systems, package units, VRF/VRV systems, ducted systems and other commercial HVAC equipment
n




Identifying issues and providing practical solutions to clients
n
Carrying out repairs and component replacements where required
n
Completing service reports and job documentation accurately
n
Providing clear feedback to the Service Manager and office team
n
Communicating professionally with clients and site representatives
n
Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
n
Maintaining a clean, organised and professional work environment
n
Assisting less experienced technicians and sharing your knowledge where requiredWorking as part of the wider Service & Maintenance team to keep jobs moving
n

Experience & Qualifications
n
You will ideally have:
n
n
Current Australian driver's licence & white card
n
Strong commercial HVAC service and maintenance experience
n
Experience with fault finding and diagnostics
n
Experience working on commercial air conditioning systems
n
Good understanding of preventative maintenance
n
Ability to complete service reports and job documentation
n
Good communication and customer service skills
n
n
