Job Description
We are seeking to engage appropriately skilled and qualified individual Support Workers to assist a young motivated male client living with an Acquired Brain Injury in the Moyhu area. Full training in client's individual needs provided, including shadow shift training. Travel incentive paid.

Key responsibilities

Assist with personal care, including showering toileting and grooming
n
Assist client with home exercises program under guidance of physiotherapist, including gym and hydrotherapy
n
Assist with planning and organising appointments, social events and correspondence
n
Assist with community access, including shopping, appointments and social activities.
n
Assist client to complete tasks on his farm, including checking on animals, walking dogs
n
Assist with meal preparation and domestic tasks
n
n
About you
n
n
Be reliable and dependable
n
Possess good planning, organisational and communication skills
n
Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or equivalent, or willing to undertake
n




Current Australian Drivers Licence
n
Current First Aid including CPR qualification
n
Current Police Check (No older than 3 months)
n
A caring and compassionate approach with the ability to communicate effectively
n
Experience in the use of technology such as smart phones and computer programs
n
Experience working with clients with Acquired Brain Injury highly desirable
n
