This is a broad, hands-on leadership role responsible for the day-to-day finance function while also partnering with senior leaders to supportfinancial sustainability, strong governance and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop the finance function acrossFinancial Accounting, AP, AR and Payroll
Oversee month-end and year-end financial reporting and statutory accounts
Lead the annualbudgeting, forecasting and financial planningprocesses
Coordinate year-end and external audits and maintain strong financial controls and compliance
Prepare high-quality financial reporting forExecutive Leadership, Board and Committees
Partner with operational leaders, providing financial analysis and insights to support business performance




Drive continuous improvement acrossfinancial systems, policies, procedures and internal controls
About You
Demonstrated finance experience within government, not-for-profit, tourism or a community-focused organisation - essential
CPA, CA or equivalent professional accounting qualification
Degree qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline
Proven experience in asenior finance leadership / Finance Manager position
Experience leading a finance team across multiple functions such as Financial Accounting, AP, AR and Payroll
Strong experience acrossfinancial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, audit and statutory compliance
Experience preparing and presenting financial information forsenior leadership, Boards and/or Committees
