Bob Adams Lifting Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated Inspection Technician to join our growing team in Sydney.
n
Working within the aviation maintenance industry, you will inspect, test, maintain and repair specialised aircraft tooling and lifting equipment used by leading Australian aviation maintenance organisations (MROs).
n
This role is ideal for someone with a solid mechanical aptitude who enjoys hands-on technical work, problem-solving, and working to high quality and safety standards. You'll receive ongoing training, career development opportunities, and work alongside experienced industry professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect, test and maintain lifting equipment and specialised aviation tooling
n
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to mechanical equipment
n




Complete detailed inspection reports and maintenance documentation
n
Perform conformance inspections in accordance with company and industry standards
n
Use precision measuring equipment and testing devices
n
Identify defective equipment and report findings to senior engineers
n
Recommend replacement parts and maintain stock requirements
n
Complete work orders accurately and within required timeframes
n
Receive, store and dispatch customer equipment and warehouse stock
n
Maintain accurate traceable records for all inspections and repairs
n
Assist with workflow planning and job scheduling
n
Support and mentor Trade Assistants and junior technicians
n
