Ballarat Day Procedure Centre (BDPC) comprises three operating theatres and 17-day oncology chairs, offering a broad range of surgical services. Specialties include Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, IVF, Plastics, Gastroenterology, Ophthalmology, ENT, General Surgery and Dental.

We support more than 10,000 patients each year across Ballarat, the Central Highlands and Greater Western Victoria.

We are seeking Registered Nurses with experience in anaesthetics to join us on a part time basis.
n
To be successful in your application for this position, you will have:
n
n
3 years post graduate experience with at least 1-year clinical experience essential in anaesthetics.
n
Knowledge in the field of high-tech medical equipment; specifically, Anaesthetic machine – care, maintenance and problem solving
n
Exceptional clinical skills
n
Ability to respond to appropriately to emergency situations
n
Understanding of the principles of Infection Control, essential
n
Evidence of ongoing Professional Development
n
Knowledge of and adherence to safe work practices
n
The ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
n
High level of written and verbal communication skills
n




An enthusiastic approach in the delivery of a high standard of nursing care
n
Anaesthetic experience essential
n
