Torchmaster Australia is a proudly Australian, family-owned welding supplies business with a growing national presence. We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Team Leader to take ownership of daily warehouse operations while supporting customers and sales.

This is a hands-on role within a small, supportive team—perfect for someone who enjoys variety, responsibility, and keeping things running smoothly.

About the Role

n

You will oversee and participate in daily warehouse and customer service operations, including:

n

n
Opening and closing the warehouse.
n
Picking and packing orders.
n
Receiving, inspecting and storing incoming goods using FIFO principles.
n
Coordinating dispatch, freight bookings and courier consignments.
n
Performing stocktakes, cycle counts, and managing damaged or transferred stock.
n
Maintaining a clean, safe and compliant warehouse setting.
n
Leading and supporting a small stores team.
n
Handling customer enquiries (phone & email), pickups, and walk-ins.
n
Entering orders, processing invoices and updating CRM systems.
n




Assisting with quotes, enquiries and stock availability.
n

About You

n

You will bring:

n

n
Experience in warehouse or stores operations.
n
Leadership experience or the confidence to guide a small team.
n
Robust organisation, communication and problem-solving skills.
n
High attention to detail and accuracy.
n
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
n
Computer literacy, especially with warehouse or inventory systems.
n
Experience in welding, industrial, or trade supply products is highly regarded.
n
Forklift Licence preferred.
n
Physically capable of performing warehouse duties safely.
n
