The Opportunity: n
Join Komatsu Australia as a Mobile Plant Mechanic – Field Service and build your career with a global OEM supporting some of the world's leading mining and construction equipment.
n
Based at Mt Thorley, you'll travel across the Hunter Valley to customer sites, carrying out diagnostics, repairs, maintenance and technical support on Komatsu heavy mobile equipment.
n
The role provides a high level of autonomy, allowing you to manage your work across customer sites while continuing to develop your technical skills and equipment expertise.
n
You'll work across a range of Komatsu machinery, including excavators, dozers and other mobile plant, supported by an experienced team and Komatsu's industry-leading technology and technical resources.
What You'll Be Doing n
n
Diagnose, repair and maintain Komatsu heavy equipment
n
Complete testing, adjustments and machine condition reports
n
Provide technical support directly to customers
n
Manage your own field service activities and documentation
n
Work safely and independently across customer sites
n
n
Roster: Lifestyle Roster: ********-hour shifts, day and night
n
Annualised Wages: $188,625 - $197,000 base + super + tool of trade vehicle + paid travel
n
Role Located: Mt Thorley & Hunter Region

What we are looking for: n
n
Qualified Plant Mechanic / Mobile Plant Technician
n
Proven mobile plant experience – Electric Drive Haul Trucks, Wheel loaders, excavators, dozers or similar
n
Previous field service or mine-site experience essential
n
Strong mechanical diagnostic and repair skills
n
Ability to work autonomously
n
MR driver's licence
n
Strong commitment to safety and customer service
n
