A major Australian bank is looking for multiple Platform Engineers to join its enterprise technology team. Its a 12 month contract likley to extend.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Platform Engineer with strong AWS, cloud engineering, API development and enterprise-scale platform engineering experience. You will play a key role in designing, building and evolving highly scalable, secure and resilient platforms that support critical technology services across the organisation.

Responsibilities

Design, build and maintain enterprise-scale platforms across AWS
n
Develop and integrate APIs and cloud-based services
n
Build scalable, secure and highly available cloud engineering solutions
n
Develop reusable platform capabilities, tooling and engineering patterns
n
Automate infrastructure and platform deployments using Infrastructure as Code
n
Integrate AWS services with enterprise applications and technology platforms
n
Improve platform reliability, scalability, performance and observability
n
Implement strong security, governance and operational standards
n
Troubleshoot complex platform and cloud engineering issues
n
Platform Engineer with experience operating within large-scale enterprise environments.
n
Strong hands-on AWS experience in a large enterprise experience
n
Strong platform engineering experience within enterprise environments
n
Experience with API development and integration
n
Experience designing and building scalable cloud platforms
n
Strong understanding of automation and Infrastructure as Code
n
