This is a hands-on role suited to reliable operators who are comfortable working across forklift operations, dock work and picking/manual handling.

Forklift Operator - Morning Shift

Morning Shift | 6:00am - 2:06pm | Ongoing Prospect

We are currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join a busy cold-storage environment handling a range of food products, including bread, meat pies, chips, butter and ice cream.

This is a hands-on role suited to reliable operators who are comfortable working across forklift operations, dock work and picking/manual handling.

About the Role
Operate forklifts approximately 80% of the time, with the remaining 20% focused on dock work and manual handling
Operate high-reach and counterbalance forklifts across freezer, chiller and dock areas
Complete putaways, picking and general warehouse duties as required
Be flexible and willing to assist across different warehouse duties when required

Forklift Operations




High-reach forklifts primarily operate within the freezer
Counterbalance forklifts mainly operate around the chiller dock, with movement between the freezer and dock
Toyota forklifts with cabins
Both sit-down and stand-up forklifts may be used
Seat capacity is 120kg
Candidates must be comfortable working in a smaller forklift cabin

What You Need
Previous forklift operating experience
Current forklift licence
Ability to perform dock and manual-handling duties
Willingness to assist with picking when requiredReliable attendance and strong work ethic
Comfortable working in chilled and freezer environments
PPE must be supplied and worn from your first day
