Job Description
The Housekeeping Manager is primarily responsible for the presentation of all rental properties, focusing on housekeeping, cleaning and guest expectations. You will manage a small team of casual cleaning and maintenance staff to prepare and present rental properties.

Manage a small team of casual cleaning and maintenance staff to prepare and present rental properties

Prepare cleaning rosters, manage timesheets and wage costs in line with budget expectations
n
Provide direction, inspire, lead and assist your team
n
Recruit, train and monitor your team's performance
n
Assist with hands‐on cleaning of properties when required (peak season)
n
Maintain house supplies (linen, Manchester and groceries), house inventory, keys and security
n
Conduct pre‐arrival inspections in readiness for guests and renters
n
Adopt strategies to ensure guest experiences lead to positive guest feedback and reviews
n
Liaise closely with the Guest Services Manager regarding all check‐ins, check‐outs and guest requirements
n
Communicate maintenance requirements, troubleshooting and guest feedback
n

About you
n

An enthusiastic and passionate individual with great communication skills and an excellent eye for detail
n
A minimum of 1 to 2 years experience in a similar supervisory role or property management role
n
Previous housekeeping and hands‐on cleaning experience
n
Motivated to ensure high standards of presentation of all properties
n
Exceptional organisational, administration and time management skills
n
Proven ability to implement systems, policies and procedures
n
Physically fit and healthy
n
Hold a current, unrestricted driver's licence (essential)
n
CPR and First Aid Certificate (desirable)
n
Work vehicle and mobile phone provided
n
