Job Description

Perform sanity, regression, and stability testing for firmware upgrades and downgrades on WiFi gateways and boosters.
n
Execute manual WiFi performance testing covering coverage, throughput, roaming, failover, reconnection, and mesh effectiveness.
n
Capture test logs, record results, document findings, and prepare clear test reports.
n
Raise and manage defects in JIRA, including logs, evidence, reproduction steps, and validation of fixes.
n
Collaborate with product, engineering, and vendor teams while participating in Agile ceremonies and supporting root cause analysis.
n

Skills Required:
n
n
Hands-on knowledge of WiFi, Mesh, boosters, gateways, and consumer networking devices.
n




Robust understanding of WiFi and networking fundamentals, including channels, bands,
backhaul/fronthaul,
MAC, BSSID, client association, and mesh concepts.
n
Experience with manual testing, firmware testing, regression testing, stability testing, and performance testing.
n
Working knowledge of Windows and Ubuntu/Linux command-line environments with the ability to analyse device logs.
n
Proficiency in JIRA, defect tracking, test documentation, troubleshooting, and Agile ways of working.
