About the Role
n
As Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the Company's procurement strategy, governance framework, policies and systems.
n
You will lead sourcing and tender activities, negotiate commercial agreements, manage supplier relationships and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs and strengthen procurement controls across the business.
n
This role combines strategy and hands-on delivery, making it ideal for someone who enjoys building processes, driving improvement and creating long-term commercial value.

Key Responsibilities
n

Develop and implement the Company's procurement strategy and annual procurement plans
n
Establish procurement policies, procedures and governance frameworks
n
Lead strategic sourcing, RFQ and tender processes for operational and capital expenditure
n
Deliver measurable cost savings and value improvement initiatives
n




Manage supplier onboarding, due diligence and performance reviews
n
Build and maintain strong supplier and contractor relationships
n
Lead commercial negotiations, contract renewals and supplier performance management
n
Monitor procurement spends, compliance and reporting outcomes
n
Identify and mitigate supply chain, contractual and commercial risks
n
Support the evaluation and implementation of procurement technology solutions
n
Partner with stakeholders across Operations, Fleet, Finance, IT and HR to deliver procurement outcomes that support business objectives
n

About You
n
You are an experienced procurement professional with strong commercial acumen, excellent stakeholder management skills and a proven ability to influence outcomes.
n
You will bring:
n
n
Relevant qualifications in Procurement, Supply Chain, Commerce, Business, Finance or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience
n
Demonstrated success in procurement, strategic sourcing and contract management
n
Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills
n
Experience developing procurement policies, governance frameworks and reporting processes
n
Sound commercial, financial and analytical capability
n
The ability to identify opportunities, challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvement
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
n
A team-oriented and practical approach to problem solving
n
CIPS qualification or membership
n
Qualifications in contract management, project management or supply chain management
n
Experience within waste management, transport, logistics, infrastructure, manufacturing, utilities or other asset-intensive industries
n
