ABOUT THE ROLE
n
n
To provide Podiatry services to acute hospital inpatients, community clients and aged care residents.
n
n
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
n
Essential:
n
n
Tertiary qualification in Podiatry eligible for registration with Podiatry Board/AHPRA.
n
Appropriate skills/experience as a base grade practicing clinician.
n




Ability to work independently and to manage clinical load and time effectively.
n
Possess effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
n
Willingness to work in a rural setting.
n
n
Desirable:
n
n
Understand living and working in rural community.
n
Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
n
Competence in using computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other databases such as iCare, OPAL and Uniti. Experience utilising the My Aged Care portal is also desirable.
n
n
PRE-REQUISITES
n
n
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
n
Working with Children Check.
n
Fully vaccinated (including influenza) as per current Department of Health Directives.
n
Australian Driver's Licence.
n
n
KEY RESPONSBILITIES
n
n
Effectively manage a Podiatry caseload across acute, aged care and community settings.
n
Actively contribute as a team member to the effective operation of the Podiatry Department, including attendance at regular team meetings.
n
Work effectively and collaboratively within the broader WWHS and Community Health Team context.
n
Establish and maintain positive relationships with external agencies and strategic partners in relation to effective delivery of Podiatry services and community development across the Wimmera.
n
