We're a growing recycling and resource recovery business specialising in tyre shredding. We're looking for a reliable, hands‐on person to join our team and help with tyre collections, warehouse work and recycling operations.

About the role

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm
n
Location: Bayswater (warehouse-based)
n
Employment: Casual to start, with the opportunity for permanent part time or full-time work for the right person.

This is a hands‐on role combining MR truck driving, tyre collection and
warehouse/recycling
work.
n
You will collect waste tyres from customers across Melbourne, generally with another team member, and return them to our Bayswater facility for processing through our tyre‐shredding operation.
n
The role involves regular manual handling of tyres and other materials, loading and unloading trucks, and assisting with the day‐to‐day operation of the warehouse and recycling process.
n
This is a physical role suited to someone who enjoys hands‐on work and is comfortable with regular manual handling.

What you'll do
n
n
Complete metro tyre collections and occasional deliveries across Melbourne with another team member.
n
Load and unload tyres and other materials safely.
n
Receive and dispatch deliveries, including checking goods and completing basic paperwork.
n
Unpack, sort and stage materials safely within the warehouse.
n
Assist with handling, sorting and preparing materials for processing.
n
Work around recycling and tyre‐shredding machinery, with training provided.
n
Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.
n




Assist with general warehouse duties, including stock handling and inventory checks.
n

Essential
n
n
MR Truck Licence.
n
Able to safely drive a manual truck.
n
Able to safely perform the physical requirements of the role.

Desirable
n
n
Forklift Licence (LF) and forklift operating experience.
n
Experience in warehouse, recycling, manufacturing, logistics or labouring environments.
n

Safety and physical requirements

This is a physically demanding, hands‐on role involving regular:

Manual handling of tyres and other materials.
n
Lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling.
n
Loading and unloading trucks.
n
Moving and stacking materials.
n
Climbing in and out of trucks.
n
Standing and walking for much of the day.
n
Working around trucks, forklifts and recycling machinery.
n
n
Applicants must be able to safely perform the inherent requirements of the position.
