Carpenter / Apprentice Carpenter – High-End Residential + Commercial (Melbourne)
n
We're a growing carpentry business based in Melbourne, and we're looking for experienced Carpenters and Apprentice Carpenters to join our crew for ongoing, long-term work.
n
Our projects range from high-end domestic builds through to semi-commercial and commercial/EBA fit-off works across Melbourne. If you take pride in clean work, good structure, and working with a solid team — we want to hear from you.

What we do
n
You'll be working across a variety of sites and scopes, including:
n
High-End Domestic Carpentry
n
n
Timber framing (ground + upper levels)
n
Lock-up carpentry
n
Fix carpentry (skirtings, architraves, doors, hardware)
n
Cladding and external works
n
Renovations and extensions
n
High-detail finishing on premium homes
n
n
Commercial / EBA Works (Fit-Off)
n
n
Fix and fit-off carpentry
n
General commercial carpentry works
n
Fast-paced site work with high standards
n
n
The Role
n
We're hiring on-site carpenters who can work as part of a team, follow direction, and deliver quality work consistently.
n
Carpenters will be expected to:
n
n
Read and interpret plans and set-outs
n
Work independently and within a team environment
n
Maintain high standards of workmanship and presentation
n




Liaise with site supervisors and other trades professionally
n
Maintain tools, site cleanliness, and safe work practices
n
n
Apprentices will be expected to:
n
n
Show up on time, ready to work
n
Be eager to learn all aspects of carpentry (frame to finish)
n
Take direction well and improve quickly
n
Respect the site, the team, and the client's property
n
Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
n
n
What we're looking for
n
Carpenter requirements
n
n
Qualified Carpenter or strong experience in carpentry
n
Ability to run tasks, problem solve, and keep momentum on site
n
Good knowledge of framing + fix/fit-off
n
Strong attention to detail (high-end finish standard)
n
n
Apprentice requirements
n
n
Currently undertaking apprenticeship or looking to start (right candidate)
n
Genuine interest in carpentry and construction
n
Reliable transport preferred
n
Willingness to learn and work hard
n
n
Must have
n
n
White Card
n
Basic hand tools (carpenters)
n
Solid understanding of site safety
n
Ability to work across multiple Melbourne locations
n
Good communication and a team-first attitude
n
n
