Hervey Bay Auto Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Express Lane Technician to join our growing Service team. This role is ideal for a technician who takes pride in delivering quality work, enjoys interacting with a busy workshop environment, and is committed to ensuring every customer receives an exceptional service experience.

About the role
n
As an Express Lane Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out routine servicing, maintenance, inspections and minor repairs efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer care. You'll play a key role in helping customers keep their vehicles safe, reliable and roadworthy while supporting the overall success of the Service Department.

Key responsibilities

Performing logbook servicing and routine vehicle maintenance.
n
Conducting vehicle health checks and safety inspections.
n
Completing repairs and maintenance in line with manufacturer and dealership standards.
n
Diagnosing basic mechanical concerns and communicating findings clearly.
n




Accurately completing repair orders and workshop documentation.
n
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment.
n
Caring for customer vehicles and ensuring they are returned in excellent condition.
n
Following all workplace health and safety requirements and dealership procedures.

Current driver's licence.
n
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
n
Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced workshop.

Excellent time management and organisational skills.
n
