About the Role

n

We are currently seeking experienced Machine Operators for ongoing opportunities with our client at their manufacturing facility in the Eastern suburbs.

n

These are hands-on manufacturing roles operating brake press machinery to produce high-quality vehicle protection components. The successful candidates will work as part of a skilled production team, bending, folding and cutting metal components in line with engineering drawings, SOPs and daily production requirements.

n

Whilst qualifications are not necessary for the role, metal fabrication and brake press experience is highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
Operate brake press machinery to bend, fold and cut metal components
n
Set up and operate brake press tools and dies
n
Produce premium vehicle protection products to required quality standards
n
Complete First Offs and Last Offs in accordance with quality procedures
n
Read and understand Engineering Drawings and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
n
Meet daily production schedules and production targets
n




Carry out general manufacturing and fabrication duties
n
Maintain machinery and equipment to ensure protected and efficient operation
n
Ensure products meet required quality standardsMaintain a clean and organised workstation
n
Attend daily toolbox meetings
n
Complete general housekeeping duties
n
Follow OH&S; policies and procedures, including wearing correct PPE
n

Requirements

n

n
Previous experiencing CNC programming and operation is highly regarded
n
Experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing
n
Strong communication and teamwork skills
n
Commitment to workplace safety and quality
n
