We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team based in Hoppers Crossing.
n
This is a hands-on role suited to a qualified and experienced mechanic who is confident working on heavy commercial vehicles and enjoys diagnosing, servicing and maintaining a modern truck fleet.
n
The Role
n
You'll be responsible for the servicing, maintenance and repairs of heavy vehicles, including:
n
n
Mercedes-Benz Actros
n
Sinotruk SITRAK
n
General heavy vehicle mechanical repairs and maintenance
n
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
n
Preventative servicing and inspections
n
Carrying out repairs efficiently and to a high standard
n
Ensuring vehicles are maintained to a safe and reliable standard
n
n
About You
n
We're looking for someone who is experienced, reliable and confident working independently.
n
Essential:
n
n




Minimum 5 years' experience as a Diesel Mechanic
n
Solid heavy vehicle mechanical experience
n
Experience working on Mercedes Actros and/or Sinotruk SITRAK highly regarded
n
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Good attention to detail and commitment to safety
n
Relevant mechanical qualifications and licences
n
