The Role
n
We are looking for a Facility Assistant to join our team at Alanvale.
n
This is a practical and varied role where you will help maintain the campus to a clean, safe and presentable standard. You will work across a range of tasks including cleaning, grounds keeping and general facility support.
n
The available shift is:
n
n
Alanvale: 6:30am–10:30am
n
n
You will be part of a team that takes pride in maintaining a welcoming environment for our learners, staff and visitors.
n
On any given day, you may:
n
n
Clean facilities and common areas across the campus.
n
Refill paper, soap and towel dispensers.
n
Empty bins and wastebaskets.
n
Clean and tidy outdoor areas.
n
Order and distribute routine supplies.
n
Activate and deactivate building security systems as required.
n
Operate a range of cleaning equipment and complete other routine facility tasks.
n

What will you bring?

You will be someone who takes pride in your work and enjoys being part of a team. You will also bring:

Basic knowledge of the safe handling of chemicals and general safe work practices.
n
Basic knowledge or experience in cleaning and/or grounds keeping.
n
The ability to adapt, use initiative and respond to changing priorities.
n
A self-motivated approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
n
A willingness to learn and operate a variety of cleaning equipment.
n
n
A current Working with Vulnerable People registration, or the ability to obtain prior to commencement.
n
