Are you an experienced Maintenance Fitter looking for a secure, long-term role with a respected food manufacturer?

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join a successful and growing FMCG business. Working within a up-to-date production environment, you'll play a key role in maintaining production equipment, minimising downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

Key Responsibilities

n

Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery and plant equipment
n
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults
n




Respond to breakdowns and minimise production downtime
n
Complete routine inspections and maintenance schedules
n
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
n
Assist with machinery installations, upgrades and commissioning projects
n
Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures
n
Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site
n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
Trade qualification as a Maintenance Fitter
n
Previous experience within FMCG, food manufacturing or a similar production environment
n
Solid fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
n
Experience with preventative maintenance systems
n
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
n
Robust commitment to workplace safety
n
Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude
