recognised food brands, supplying our bakery stores, wholesale customers and franchise

With new production lines being commissioned and continued growth across the business,
n
we're looking for an experienced Production Manager to take ownership of our Bibra Lake
n
manufacturing operation and help us deliver the next stage of our growth.
n
Reporting directly to the owners, you'll lead production performance across the business - from
n
planning and scheduling through to quality, food safety, preventative maintenance, team
n
leadership and continuous improvement. You'll play a key role in ensuring our products continue
n
to meet the standards we're known for while helping the business scale to meet future demand.
n

About the Role
n
You'll take ownership of the day-to-day operation of our production facility, ensuring products
n
are manufactured safely, efficiently and to the high standards our customers have come to
n
expect from Pinjarra Bakery.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Leading day-to-day production across pie, sausage roll and bakery product lines
n
Managing production planning, scheduling and workforce requirements
n
Driving HACCP,
food safety and quality compliance across the operation
n
Leading, coaching and developing a high-performing production team
n
Supporting the commissioning and optimisation of new production equipment and
n
Overseeing preventative maintenance programs and equipment reliability
n
Managing inventory, waste reduction and production efficiency
n
Delivering operational reporting and performance metrics
n
Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
n
Working closely with the owners and leadership team to support the company's growth
n
objectives
n
n
About You
n
You're a proven production leader who understands what valuable looks like on a manufacturing
n
floor.
n
You know how to build teams, solve problems, maintain high standards and deliver consistent
n
results. You take pride in producing quality products and creating an environment where people
n
can do their best work.
n
Ideally, you'll bring:
n
n
Experience leading production teams within food manufacturing, bakery, FMCG or
n
Strong HACCP, food safety and quality systems knowledge
n
Experience managing production planning and operational performance
n
A hands-on leadership style and strong people management capability
n
Sound commercial awareness, including waste reduction and efficiency improvement
n
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
n
Experience driving operational improvement and continuous improvement initiatives
n
Confidence working with manufacturing systems and production reporting tools
n
Bakery, pastry or food production experience will be highly regarded, but we're equally
n
interested in hearing from experienced food manufacturing leaders who share our commitment
n
to quality and continuous improvement.
