Key Responsibilities
Deliversafe,evidence-basednursingcaretoresidents
Conductcomprehensiveclinicalassessmentsandmonitorresidenthealth
Administermedicationsandtreatmentsinaccordancewithclinicalguidelines
Develop,reviewandupdateindividualisedcareplans
Provideclinicalleadershipandsupervisiontonursingandcarestaff
SupportandmentorGraduateNurses,EnrolledNursesandPersonalCareWorkers
Workcollaborativelywithfamilies,GPs,alliedhealthprofessionalsandexternalproviders
Ensureaccurateclinicaldocumentationandreporting
Promoteinfectionpreventionandmaintaincompliancewithagedcarestandards

Respondpromptlytochangesinresidents'healthconditions
Contributetocontinuousqualityimprovementinitiatives
Participateinongoingeducationandmandatorytrainingprograms
Requirements & Eligibility
BachelorofNursingqualification
CurrentunrestrictedAHPRARegisteredNurseregistration
CurrentFirstAidandCPRcertification
Previousexperiencewithinresidentialagedcareishighlyregarded
Strongclinicalassessmentanddecision-makingskills
Knowledgeofagedcarelegislation,infectioncontrolandprofessionalstandards
Excellentleadership,communicationandinterpersonalskills
Abilitytoworkeffectivelywithinamultidisciplinaryteam
CurrentNationalPoliceCheckorwillingnesstoobtainone
CurrentCOVID-19andinfluenzavaccinationsinlinewithemployerrequirements
