We are currently seeking a part time Accounts Assistant (2–3 days per week) to support our Finance team with the day-to-day processing that keeps our financial records accurate and up to date. You will play a key role in supporting payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general financial administration across the business.

About the role
n
As an Accounts Assistant, you will join a supportive Finance team within a growing care provider, working from the Cheltenham office to support accurate and timely financial record-keeping across the business. You will play a key role in supporting payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general financial administration across the business.

Key responsibilities
n
n
Data entry and maintaining accurate financial records
n
Assisting with payroll processing and payroll data checks
n
Processing Accounts Payable invoices
n
Assisting with Accounts Receivable and customer account enquiries
n
Processing invoices, receipts and payment records




n
Maintaining and organising finance and accounting documents
n
Supporting the Finance team with other ad hoc duties as required
n

About you
n
n
Previous experience in an accounts, bookkeeping, or finance administration role preferred
n
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
n
Good working knowledge of accounting/payroll software (e.g. Xero) and Microsoft Excel
n
Strong time management and organisational skills
n
Excellent verbal and written communication
n
Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
n
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
n
