We are seeking
2 Lead Security Analysts / Cyber Threat Analysts
to join a specialist cyber security environment focused on protecting critical systems and responding to evolving cyber threats. This is a
12-month contract with potential extensions
, working across security operations, threat analysis, vulnerability management and incident response.
What you'll do n
n
Conduct
threat-driven security analysis
of systems and environments.
n
Analyse threat intelligence to identify system-specific cyber threats and risks.
n
Monitor security events and investigate potential security incidents.
n
Develop and maintain
incident response plans and playbooks
.
n
Analyse security vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate remediation solutions.
n
Review existing security controls and identify potential weaknesses.
n
Develop procedures for monitoring and analysing security information and events.
n
Support the planning and execution of
test and evaluation activities
for systems and products.
n
Work closely with technical teams and security leadership to strengthen security posture.
n
Provide technical support and advice to security leadership as required.
n
What you'll bring n
n
Demonstrated experience working within a
Security Operations Centre (SOC)
as a Security Analyst.
n
Strong hands-on experience with




Splunk Enterprise Security
.
n
Experience with
Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)
platforms.
n
Experience with
Network Detection and Response (NDR)
platforms.
n
Experience with
Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR)
platforms.
n
Strong understanding of threat analysis, security monitoring, vulnerability assessment and incident response.
n
Knowledge of Australian Government information security policies, the
ASD Information Security Manual (ISM)
and
Essential Eight
is desirable.
n
Solid analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
n
Ability to work effectively in a highly security-focused environment.
n
Current TSPV security clearance is mandatory
