Experienced Rope Access Supervisors – South West Opportunities

Breight Group is looking for experienced Rope Access Supervisors based in the South West region of WA to support regular shutdown and maintenance works throughout the year.
n
We're seeking experienced IRATA Supervisors who meet S26 requirements and can provide robust field leadership across Rope Access scopes.
n
Opportunities will be offered across planned shutdown and maintenance campaigns based on upcoming work requirements and your availability.
n
To be considered, you must have a permanent Point of Hire within the South West region of WA that supports DIDO travel to and from site.
n
The Role
n
As a Rope Access Supervisor, you will:
n
n
Lead and supervise Rope Access crews across shutdown and maintenance scopes.
n
Provide effective field leadership and coordinate daily work activities.
n
Ensure Rope Access activities are planned and executed in accordance with IRATA requirements and site procedures.
n
Review work scopes, access requirements and rescue considerations prior to execution.
n
Conduct pre-starts and communicate work priorities and expectations.
n
Coordinate resources, equipment and work fronts.
n
Monitor safety, productivity, quality and progress throughout execution.
n
Complete required documentation, reporting and shift handovers.
n
Identify and elevate operational, safety and resourcing issues.
n

What You'll Need
n
To be considered, you will need:
n
n
S26 statutory supervisor requirements – mandatory
n
Demonstrated experience supervising Rope Access teams within mining, shutdown, maintenance or heavy industrial environments.
n
Strong working knowledge of IRATA requirements and safe Rope Access systems.
n
Demonstrated experience with Rope Access planning, risk assessment and rescue requirements.
n
Strong safety leadership and field supervision capability.
n
Ability to effectively coordinate multiple work fronts and changing priorities.
n
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
n
Relevant site competencies and ability to meet mobilisation requirements.
n
Permanent Point of Hire within the South West region of WA.
n
Ability to DIDO to and from site from your nominated South West Point of Hire.
n
Flexibility to work planned shutdown and maintenance campaigns throughout the year.
n
