n Marathon Electric is a leading manufacturer and supplier of electric motors and industrial solutions across Australia and New Zealand. We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable & Receivable Coordinator to join our Finance team on a 12-month maximum term contract.

About the Role
n Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will manage accounts payable and receivable activities across Australia and Current Zealand, ensuring accurate and timely financial processing.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
Accounts Receivable (Australia & New Zealand)
n
n
Manage customer accounts and allocate incoming payments.
n
Process daily banking transactions.
n
Perform credit risk assessments and monitor customer accounts.
n
Investigate and resolve customer claims and account discrepancies.
n
Collect overdue accounts and maintain customer relationships.
n
Reconcile customer statements and billing records.
n
Support business units with credit-related enquiries and claims resolution.
n

Accounts Payable (New Zealand)
n
n
Process and verify supplier invoices for the New Zealand business.
n
Code invoices accurately to general ledger accounts and cost centres.
n
Prepare and process supplier payment runs.
n
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
n
Maintain vendor master data, banking details and payment terms.
n
Process employee expense claims and corporate credit card reconciliations.
n
Support month-end activities, reporting and audit requirements.
n
Assist with Australian accounts payable activities as required
n

About You
n
n
Demonstrated experience in both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
n
Strong Excel and accounting skills.
n
Knowledge of Australian and New Zealand GST requirements.
n
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
n
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
