Workforce Extensions is recruiting experienced Production Welders for a well established manufacturing business based in Ballarat.

n

These are full time production welding roles working in a large-scale manufacturing environment. You'll be part of a team producing large fabricated components, using MIG welding and working with structural steel.

n

We're looking for people who are comfortable making the move to Ballarat for work and want reliable hours, plenty of overtime and the opportunity to secure ongoing employment.

What You'll Be Doing

n

Production MIG welding of structural steel components and assemblies
n
Working from drawings, jigs and production specifications
n
Completing repetitive production welding to a consistent standard
n
Working as part of a larger manufacturing team
n
Meeting production, quality and safety requirements
n

n

What We're Looking For

n

n
Previous production welding or heavy fabrication experience
n




Experience working with structural steel
n
Good attention to detail and pride in your work
n
Reliable, hardworking and comfortable working in a team environment
n

n

What You Can Expect

Full time hours based in Ballarat
n
Monday to Friday work
n
Minimum three month contract
n
Potential for ongoing work beyond the initial contract
n
Large-scale manufacturing environment

Modern workshop and equipment

Consistent work rather than short term shutdown or project work

Pre-Employment Requirements

Candidates may be required to successfully complete a medical and drug and alcohol assessment prior to commencement.
