Mercedes-Benz Waverley is seeking an experienced and driven Assistant Manager – Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales to play a key leadership role within one of Australia's most awarded and highest-performing Mercedes-Benz dealership groups.

About the Role




n As the Assistant Manager – Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles, you will combine your proven sales ability with leadership responsibilities to support the department's continued growth and success.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Selling Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles while achieving volume and profitability targets
n
Assisting the Pre-Owned Vehicle Manager with daily operations and team performance
n
Leading by example through exceptional customer engagement and sales outcomes
n
Coaching and mentoring sales team members to maximise results and customer satisfaction
n
Supporting stock management, presentation standards, vehicle merchandising, and pricing strategies
n
Managing and following up all customer enquiries and leads in a timely manner
n
Overseeing the complete sales process, including finance introductions, trade-ins, and aftermarket products
n
Ensuring premium vehicle handovers that exceed customer expectations
n
Building long-term customer relationships and generating repeat and referral business
n
Assisting with marketing initiatives, product campaigns, and competitor analysis
n
Maintaining compliance with Mercedes-Benz standards, policies, and training requirements
n




Accurately managing CRM activities, customer records, and dealership documentation
n

What You'll Bring
n

Proven success in automotive vehicle sales, ideally in pre-owned vehicles
n
Previous leadership, mentoring, senior sales consultant, or assistant manager experience highly regarded
n
Strong understanding of dealership sales processes, finance, trade-ins, and customer retention strategies
n
Outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
n
Results-driven mindset with a demonstrated history of achieving and exceeding targets
n
Professional presentation and a commitment to excellence
n
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
n
Proficiency with dealership CRM platforms and digital sales tools
n
