Job Description
Kinross Wolaroi School is seeking two enthusiastic and knowledgeable Cricket Coaches to join the Co-Curricular Program for the ********* cricket season. The positions will commence in Term 4, **** and continue through Term 1, ****. The successful applicants will be responsible for developing student skills, fostering sportsmanship and teamwork, and supporting the effective delivery of the School's cricket program.

Key responsibilities
n
Plan and deliver engaging training sessions
n
Develop players' technical skills in batting, bowling, fielding and wicketkeeping
n
Promote game awareness, tactical understanding and sportsmanship
n
Assist with team selection processes when required
n
Supervise students during training sessions and matches
n
Ensure student welfare and safety at all times
n
Support match-day operations, including scoring and administration
n
Maintain accurate scoring records using PlayHQ and paper scorebooks
n
Represent the School positively with students, parents and opposition teams
n
Attend external coaching meetings and actively engage in career development
n

Knowledge of current training and coaching methods
n
Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
n
High levels of integrity, diplomacy,



confidentiality and tact
n
Proven ability to be proactive and show initiative in a variety of situations
n
A determination to ensure excellence across all sectors of the Programme and a willingness to continue to learn and be innovative
n
Current First Aid and CPR certificate
n
Previous school or club coaching experience
n
Experience using PlayHQ scoring systems
n
Understanding of cricket scoring and scorebook maintenance
n
Relevant coaching accreditation
