Located in the heart of Creswick, our 65-bed facility includes our Peacock Wing, a specialised 18-bed Memory Care Unit, where we support residents living with dementia with dignity, respect, and understanding.

What we are looking for
n
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Manager to join our leadership team and help guide the delivery of safe, high-quality care across our facility.
n
Working closely with the CEO and care team, you will provide clinical leadership and governance across nursing and care services, supporting best-practice care, workforce development, continuous improvement, and positive resident outcomes.

About the Role
n
The Clinical Manager is responsible for leading clinical operations and ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care that meets the Aged Care Quality Standards, NDIS Practice Standards, and legislative requirements. This position includes being on-call after-hours.
n
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who values teamwork, relationship-building, and creating positive outcomes for residents, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
n
Clinical Leadership & Governance
n
n
Lead clinical and nursing services across the facility
n
Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, NDIS requirements, and clinical governance frameworks
n
Oversee audits, incident management, SIRS processes, risk management,



and continuous improvement initiatives
n
Support accreditation readiness and ongoing compliance activities
n
n
Resident Care & Clinical Services
n
n
Oversee resident assessments, care planning, and clinical outcomes
n
Provide leadership in complex care including medication management, wound care, infection prevention and chronic disease management
n
Promote person-centred, culturally safe, and inclusive care practices
n
n
Supporting Our Team
n
n
Lead, mentor, and support nursing, care, and allied health teams
n
Foster a positive, collaborative, and respectful workplace culture
n
Support workforce capability, development, and evidence-based practice
n
n
Communication & Reporting
n
n
Build positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders
n
Contribute clinical reporting and insights to the CEO, Executive Team, Board, and regulatory bodies as required
n
Support effective use of electronic clinical systems including Medsig and MANAD
n
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
n
Infection Prevention and Control qualification
n
Current NDIS Check,



First Aid, and CPR certification
n
Minimum 7-10 years' nursing experience, including senior clinical leadership experience in residential aged care
n
Strong understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards, NDIS Practice Standards, and clinical governance
n
Experience in accreditation, audits, continuous improvement, and incident management
n
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
n
Full working rights in Australia
n
Postgraduate qualifications in Nursing Management, Clinical Leadership, Gerontology, or a related field are highly desirable.
