This is an excellent opportunity for a Psychiatrist looking for a regular 2-day-per-week commitment, with the potential to develop into a longer-term arrangement.

Role Details

2 days per week(there hospital offers flexible arrangements as well with option of more days with less hours or after hours)

Ongoing caseload of approximately8–10 inpatients
n
Review inpatients twice per week
n
Admissions acrossgeneral and addictions psychiatry
n
Review patients participating in day programs
n
Opportunity for alonger-term locum arrangement
n
Suitable for doctors under 10 year moratorium

$2,500 – $3,000 per day, depending on experience

About the hospital
n
The hospital has approximately 60 beds and 5 ECT suites, providing a broad range of private psychiatric services.
n
You'll be joining an established medical team comprising four VMOs and one locum, supported by two general physicians and nurse practitioners.
n
Consulting rooms are available for VMOs, with administrative support provided, allowing you to focus on patient care.
n

Candidate Requirements

Current AHPRA registration

Fellowship of RANZCP (essential)
