Werribee RSL is seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our agile kitchen team. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our patrons in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. What you'll be doing
Preparing and cooking a variety of menu items to our high standards of quality and presentation
Ensuring efficient and timely meal delivery to customers
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment
Assisting with inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies
Collaborating with the culinary team to develop new menu items and improve existing dishes
Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations
Working split shifts and weekends on a rotating roster

What we're looking for
Relevant qualification in commercial cookery or equivalent experience




Demonstrated experience as a Chef in a quick-paced hospitality environment
Robust time management and multi-tasking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Passion for creating delicious, high-quality meals
Adaptability to work in a dynamic, customer-focused setting
