Disability Support Worker (Mental Health) - Wollongong
We are currently seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to join a growing support team in Wollongong.
The successful applicant will be compassionate, resilient, reliable, and experienced in supporting individuals with mental health needs.
This role offers ongoing weekly shifts with the opportunity to become part of a stable and supportive team.
Essential Requirements
Australian Resident with full working rights
Experience supporting participants with mental health diagnoses
Ability to work active shifts and/or sleepover shifts
Strong communication and documentation skills
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
Current Driver's Licence
Own reliable transport
Fluent English communication skills
Highly Regarded
Medication Assistance Experience
Diabetes Training
Experience preparing meals and lunch packs
Restrictive Practice Experience
Behaviour Support Experience
Mental Health Support Experience
